Is this just an AI filter?

No. Filters apply generic colorization and hope for the best. Unfaded uses a dedicated restoration model trained on millions of historical photographs. It understands how Kodak film captured skin tones in the 1950s, how fabric looked under natural light in the 1930s, how photo paper aged over decades. The difference: filters make old photos look colored. Unfaded makes them look real.

What if it doesn't look right?

After your first 5 photos, if a restoration has technical issues, we'll redo it or refund that credit. But here's what actually happens: 98% of restorations work perfectly on the first try.

Can I re-download my restorations later?

No. We don't store your restorations by design for privacy. When you restore a photo, download it immediately to your device. Once you close the page, the restoration is gone. If you need the same photo restored again, just use another credit. But save the file the first time to avoid wasting credits.

What happens to my photos?

We process your photo, let you download the restoration, then delete everything immediately. We don't store your original photos OR your restorations. We don't sell data.
